Scotch Marine (Fire Tube) Boilers

Available in Dryback or Wetback, steam or hot water versions, 15 - 800 hp, pressures to 300 psig, two-pass to four-pass designs. 81% minimum efficiency. Davited rear doors. Minimum maintenance with rugged construction for extra-long life. UL listed boiler/burner package for firing gas, oil and combination gas/oil. Factory tested and checked for optimum operating efficiency.

Scotch Marine Dryback Boilers:

Series 200 15-800 HP, 15-300 psi Steam, 30-160 psi Hot Water, Pressure to 300 psig Two and three-pass dry back scotch marine boiler. Two pass design eliminates refractory baffles between flue gas passes. Minimum maintenance with rugged construction for extra-long life. Efficiencies allow for burning number 5 and number 6 oil with complete combustion with low heat release.

Series 300 15-800 HP, 15-300 psi Steam, 30-160 psi Hot Water Two and three-pass dry back scotch marine boiler. Rear smoke box includes slip-on stack connector and features hinged and davited rear doors.

LPE Series 20-100 HP, 670 to 3,348 MBTU/HR. 15 psi Steam, 30 psi Water (60 psi Water Optional) Modified three pass scotch marine fire tube boiler. Designed for minimal clearances where installation and floor space are the challenge. Durable features start with the thickest vessel shell in its class, along with large furnace volume for ultimate combustion efficiency.

Scotch Marine Wetback Boilers:

Series 400 30-1,800 HP, Steam or Hot Water, Pressures to 300 psig. Three-pass wetback scotch marine boiler. Fuel efficiencies exceed most  four-pass designs.  No large refractory rear door, allows one technician easy access to tubes. Front doors can be opened without removing burner components or controls.

Series 500 30 to 2,000 HP, Steam or Hot Water, Pressure to 250 psig. Available with LOW NOx. Four pass wetback scotch marine boiler designed for optimum fuel efficiency. No heavy refractory back doors or baffles to replace or maintain resulting in thousands in savings over the life of the boiler. The Series 500 wetback has independent tube sheets with uniform temperatures eliminating premature tube failure and cracks in the tube sheet.

Ohio Special 100-225 HP, 3,347 to 6,695 MBTU/HR. Three Pass Wet Back Design Scotch Marine Boiler. Extra large furnace for low heat release.
